If I apply, am I guaranteed a space in the course?
This course will fill quickly, so we advise that you apply as early as possible. Each application will be carefully reviewed and eligible students will be accepted on a first-come basis.
What type of certificate will I receive?
Upon successfully completing the course, you will receive a 200-Hour Hot Yoga Teaching Certificate issued by Absolute Yoga Thailand, Asia’s leading yoga studio. Along with an internationally-recognized certificate, you will also be assigned a teaching mentor who will help you find work and grow as a teacher.
Will the course be taught in English?
The course will be taught in English, all sessions and materials are in english (only).
I don’t speak English that well. Can I still attend?
It is not necessary to speak English perfectly in order to attend the training, especially if you plan to teach in another language.
After the training, can I work for Absolute Yoga?
Absolute Yoga is always looking for exceptional teachers, and you are encouraged to apply for any available positions.
Why are there two classes per day during the training?
In order to physically and mentally memorize the asana series, verbal instructions, and structure of the class, it is important to practice it again and again. At first, it seems like a lot, but most students find it fun and challenging to practice twice in one day!
I’m not sure if I want to become a teacher. Can I still attend the course?
Though most of the trainees plan to eventually teach, some simply want to deepen their practice and spend a month immersed in the study of yoga. As long as you are eager to learn and willing to participate fully in all aspects of the training, you are more than welcome to attend.
Can I pick my roommate?
Yes! If you plan to attend the training course with a friend, let us know on your application so we can mark you down as roommates.
Is it possible to have a private room?
Yes! A limited number of single rooms are available for an additional charge.
Is all the food vegetarian?
All meals have non-vegetarian and vegetarian options. If you have special dietary requirements, there are plenty of restaurants and markets within walking distance where you can find most everything.
I’m still a beginner, can I enroll in the course?
More important than your ability level is your enthusiasm to learn. If you are serious about the training program, then yes, please apply!
I have an injury, can I still attend?
Minor aches, pains, and injuries are part of life, and your teachers can help you heal by modifying postures as needed. If you have major problems, please consult your doctor.
